Okay, in terms of reading preferences, historical romances? So not my thing. Polyamorous gay male triads? Also, totally not my thing.But a well-crafted story that will suck me in and keep me hooked despite my proclivities? Oh hell yeah, that's totally my thing.
I cannot stress enough how obvious it is that Amelia Bishop must have agonized over every word when she spun this sweet little tale of love from straw into gold. The writing is just superb. The story grabs hold of you and tightens its grip in tender mercy until it's finished with you.
I don't care what your preferences are. If you like a good story then you'll like this story.

I would also like to personally thank Amelia Bishop for keeping me entertained for two days. I had a lot to keep my mind off of and she gave me something much better than my troubles to think about.

I was captivated right from the start. I could not put this book down; I read it in less than 3 days. It is a wonderful historical M/M/M/ romance set on the high seas that will no doubt pull at your heart.
I gave the story only 4 stars because I thought it was little slow at first, I was hoping to read a bit more detail in the sexual encounters and I thought the ending was missing something (it felt like it left you hanging even though it told you what happens to the characters.)
I would defiantly recommend this book. I am now a big fan of Amelia Bishop and cannot wait to read her other stories.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This is the first m/m/m romance I have read set in the 1700's, and I wasn't disappointed! I read this story in one sitting it was very good. I won't go into details about the story I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I must say it is a wonderful love story between three men with a HEA. The last few chapters will have you biting your nails wondering if it will work out for all three main characters and YES it does! I will definitely recommend this book to everyone and look forward to more books from Amelia Bishop!

this was indeed beautifully written and romantic, sensual and exciting. a great combination of emotions. the three characters are nice mix and fit together perfectly. i thoroughly enjoyed reading this.
I don't normally read historicals but I really enjoyed this one. It was a well written, easy read with enough going on to keep you invested in the story. I liked how the story played out with likeable characters and a believable story line. I also liked that although it was historical, the history wasn't jammed down your throat. I would happily recommend this book.
This book surprised me in a good way! I originally thought this book might be okay but nothing spectacular because of the description I read on it. Boy was I wrong! I could not put it down! I really really enjoyed this book! I am glad that Amelia did her research & decided that the characters in the book would not treat Jorge, Peter & Clayton harshly because they were gay! It was a very pleasant change.
I got lost in the world that Amelia created! The characters had many levels to them & were very believable & I fell in love with them. I laughed, cried, & rejoiced with Jorge, Peter & Clayton throughout the book. In some places the book kept me on the edge of my seat! I loved how they were with each other. It also had intrigue in the book as well & some very sweet scenes & I cried like a baby in some! If you want to read a m/m/m book that is different & very exciting I would recommend this book. I will defiantly be reading more of her books!
